When is AOL going to hire better webmasters and get rid of their horrible web design?
The friggen pages at Huffpo take 20 seconds per page to load.And people have been complaining for years.Seriously ... how hard is it to hire a better webmaster to design a better website s ?Maybe we should start a petition that says, " Dear AOL, please go bankrupt and die. Thanks " and send it to their HQ.

Are there any web design/programming clubs in west los angeles?
Hi, I am located in west los angeles, and i am interested in meeting others who are into web development and programming. Currently the languages i know learning are html, css, javascript, php, and im learning mysql and photoshop. I've been doing research on google and stuff but can't find anything. And nothing is available at my school at smc. So if there any people out there in the area im down to meet and maybe we can start something or w e. Or if anyone knows clubs or programs out there or something in that nature thats cool too. Thanks

what are the courses for getting job in web designing... as i am interested in multimedia and web designing side.. and i don't know what course should be complete for those.. please suggest me with some information.. thank youi completed my graduation in bachelor of commerce.. and my options are master of commerce and the other was b.ed.. as i' am not at all interested in teaching profession.. i' am interested to go into software side.. i don't know what courses to join for that...

Where are HTML wrappers used and what exactly are they? (web design)?
I've been learning HTML and CSS programming languages for awhile in order to further my understanding and possible produce my own fully html css webpage from scratch. One thing I still haven't bothered to research is what a wrapper is I mean is it just changing the orientation or shape of an object as it sounds?Anyway What are wrappers? Where are they used? some examples maybe?Thanks in advance

Is 26 too old for web design?
I'm 26 years old, and know HTML and CSS to fairly decent standard. I know my way around Photoshop, but I'm certainly not a pro. Do you think the boat has already set sail on this one and I'm too old to start pursuing a career in web design?What's putting me off, is the sheer scope of the subject, and how many languages there are a lot of people my age already have a huge headstart on me Primarily, I work in online marketing but I just don't get the same buzz from it as I do when I'm making a website.What do you think?

after a long year i finally got a graphic design job, which requires some knowledge of web design dreamweaver. But i mainly do design for print. i don't want to give it up because i've been out of work for a while and it feels so good to have finally got a job. i was wondering if there was anyone who can teach me web design, id appreciate it. thanks in advance

Photoshop web design question?
if i design a web page layout in photoshop where there are some clickable elements, elements that change on hover, ect. is there a way i can export each item seperatley from that design without making a new one?

So I am a Junior in High School and I am taking advanced web design this year after easily passing web design my Sophomore year. However, I seem to be a bit stuck. Can U do web designing/development but not have Adobe CS6 suites for web design & be effective?
I've been trying to get into web designing development for years but I do not have Adobe CS6 suites for web designing? Does this put me out the ball park. Will I be designing web pages that can't open or work effectively in the new browsers because I'm still using DreamWeaver CS4 or Adobe Flash CS4? Is CS4 completely obsolete? What can I do to remedy this? I can't afford CS6. I have been almost decimated by this last recession. I need answers please.

How can I get started with creating my web design company?
I'm a web designer by heart, but I'm stuck at a point. The last couple of years I've been pushing myself to start my own company locally, then expand as time goes on. My only dilemma is this and I'm stuck from moving forward, so hopefully someone can enlighten me with their words, how can I get started? I've done some research and I'm continuing to constantly, yet I'm looking for that extra push.I have details down far as pricing is concerned and what services I want to offer. However if I design something, slice the images and then code the web site depending on the number of pages and what content is needed , should I be publishing this website for people? Uploading it to a server, helping them with a domain name, etc? What services should I be providing AFTER the design is complete? I understand marketing and good SEO is in hand, that's something I'm willing to do.
