How much advertising money does a single website hit earn?
I have an ad blocker for my web browser I hate waiting through ads, it helps pages load faster, it looks cleaner, etc. However, a lot of the websites I visit offer free entertainment and depend on advertising for revenue. I feel bad about blocking their ads and taking advantage of them. Some of them have donate buttons, so I would like to make donations roughly equivalent to how much money they've missed out on because of my blocking software. If it's a ridiculously low amount, I'll probably bump it up to $10 or something.TL DR About how much does a single web hit earn the website owner? I would like to reimburse them.I know it's going to be different from website to website I'm just looking for a ballpark figure here. Round up if need be.
Every time I click on a website to go to, it sends me to an advertising site instead? why?
When I search on Google I click on a link to a site that I'm interested in, but the link sends me to a totally different site which is advertising something, and it doesn't let me get into the website. I tried going back and clicking on the link again but it sends me to another different advert site.It does this with every link I click on. Can anyone tell me why this happens and if I can stop it from doing it somehow? Do I have a virus or something?

How does YouTube decide what advertising ads to show you?
Every time I see a video on YouTube, I'll usually get one of these two videos A advert about Sakura House, and another one about Scientology.I can understand getting adverts of Sakura House because I want to travel to Japan. I often watch videos about where to stay in Japan, what to eat in Japan, how to learn Japanese. But I don't understand why I get adverts of Scientology. I have no interest in Scientology, I can't remember ever looking up anything about Scientology. I have never clicked on one of the adverts, not even by accident. So how does YouTube chose which adverts to show me?
